Backpacking to Europe

I had been thinking of studying abroad in Spain when I was in high school. Then I went to Spain as a normal tourist. It was awesome, but I wondered how other countries are. So I decided I was going to go to Europe as a backpacker, and I thought it would be a wonderful experience.
I went to France, but I didn’t plan except for the first destination. I was staying in hostels where I could get some information, make new friends and stay as cheap as possible. I had to decide where to go next. Then, I went to Poland after France, Spain, and Malta. I didn’t bring any Internet connecters, so I couldn’t call or do some things. In Warsaw, I got lost, and couldn’t find my apartment for two hours. I asked about the location to many people. I met a man who called my apartment owner. Finally, I could find it thanks to him. We had talked about it before he called. He came back to see me because he was worried about me. I was so impressed at such a kind person.
I went to Portugal after Poland, Ukraine, Denmark, Germany, and Belgium. There were many beautiful places, delicious food, and kind people, but I felt a little discrimination one time. It happened on the metro that I had to get on from the hostel to the airport for early departure. I got on the metro when an old man was there. Then he said “Fucking crazy!” I was temporarily upset, but I ignored him completely. After that he followed me. I don’t know why. I guess he was drunk or he was a racist.
All in all, I could have quite an experience. To me, traveling is very important, so I could know a part of the world. I could feel the kindness of people, and I could feel prejudice. I could feel these emotions because of travel. I will be able to touch people from other cultures at they visit my country.
